Graduate students of Zhubanov University Faculty of History had an internship in the Aktobe Regional Museum of History and Local Lore.
Young people were able to plunge into the real work of museum workers thanks to the memorandum of cooperation between the museum and the university. According to the agreement Aktobe Regional Museum of History and Local Lore acts as an employer, a base of practice and a participant in the development of modular educational programs.
Some of the students were interning in the department of research support of modern history. They were engaged in filling the acts of acceptance of exhibits, research of history of the received exhibits, collecting information on life and activity of persons who contributed to the national economy of Kazakhstan in the Soviet period, preparation of historical references.
The trainees who are attached to the department of research maintenance of the general history, archeology and ethnography have got skills on registration of an exhibition hall, have spent the work on ordering, systematization, the description and numbering of archeological artifacts of fund of a museum.
