On 20 May 1936 was born Professor Mukhtar Aryn. From 1983 until the end of his life Mukhtar Aryn was the rector of the Aktobe Pedagogical Institute. He did a lot to make Aktobe Pedagogical Institute one of the leading universities of the country. At his invitation, famous scientists came to Aktobe to strengthen the teaching staff of the institute. It was Mukhtar Aryn who prepared the ground for the university to receive the status of a university and suggested that it be named after Kudaibergen Zhubanov. It is no coincidence that the main building of the university is named after Mukhtar Aryn.
Today the scientific-practical conference “Arynov Readings” dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the professor took place at Zhubanov University.
The online conference brought together scientists from all over the Republic. At the plenary session spoke: Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of philological sciences, professor Seit Kaskabasov; Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of philosophical sciences, professor Garifolla Yesim; deputy of Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of political sciences, professor Amerhan Rakhimzhanov; doctor of philological sciences, professor Kusayin Rysaldy; Director of the Arys publishing house, doctor of philological sciences, professor Garifulloy Anes; doctor of philosophical sciences, professor Amangeldy Aitaly; as well as successor of his father – Honorary Member of NAS of the RK, doctor of economic sciences, professor Yerlan Aryn.
In their reports prominent figures shared memories of life and activities of Mukhtar Aryn, revealed the theme of educational views and his reflections on independence, raised the problems of spiritual continuity in the works of Mukhtar Aryn.
Maria Galieva, Director of M. Aryn School-Lyceum 24 in Taldykorgan; Svetlana Aitbayeva, singer, honored worker of Kazakhstan; Sayat Merekenov, cinema and theater actor, and others also spoke about the importance of Mukhtar Aryn’s personality.
Words of respect for the memory of the great teacher were addressed in letters of congratulations by the Akim of Aktobe region Ondasyn Urazalin, State Secretary of RK Krymbek Kusherbayev, Rector of Shakarim University Bauyrzhan Erembekov, Rector of Gumilyov University Yerlan Sydykov.
Throughout the day of the conference teachers and scientists participated in master classes and spoke in the following areas: pedagogical and linguistic heritage of Mukhtar Aryn; the world of national spirituality: the concept of education of M. Aryn “Bes anyk”; traditions and innovations in the educational system.
