Thirty trainees – students of universities and Kazakh-Chinese companies represented in our region – added to their knowledge.
Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics (PRC) and Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov once again held joint courses. The professors’ lectures were devoted to the current economic and trade situation between Kazakhstan and China, the traditional culture of China, and the prospects for mutually beneficial multifaceted cooperation. The potential of the Silk Road Economic Belt, including cross-border electronic trade, logistics development in Xinjiang under the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and the state program “Nurly Zhol. The four-day open course included online tours of Karamay city, the Khorgos free trade zone in Xinjiang, and TBEA and Mustang International.
– The organizers invited entrepreneurs from China to hold an online discussion with representatives of Kazakh-Chinese enterprises and teachers from the Faculty of Economics and Law at Zhubanov University,” added Daulet Kantoreuly, a teacher of the Confucius Institute of Aktobe University.
Professor Sun Xiangron, professor of Xinjiang University, and Professor Gulzhan Shokym, director of the Center for International Cooperation at the ARU, praised the results of the training of students, as well as the contribution of the Confucius Institute to cooperation between universities and enterprises. Bagdagul Taskarina, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law, on behalf of all the trainees expressed gratitude to her Chinese colleagues for ensuring high level preparation for the courses.
At the closing ceremony the best trainees were announced and all participants were given certificates of international standard.
