The research of Professor of the University of Zhubanov Daulet Sergeev was recently published in the leading scientific journal “Advances in Nano Research” (“Achievements in the field of nano research”).
The South Korean edition is one of the top-rated in scientific circles, as it has the highest Q1 quartile in the scientometric Web of Science database and the 96th percentile in the Scopus database. These categories indicate a high citation of the publication among scientists around the world.
Head of the Center “Radiation Physics of Materials”, Professor Kuanyshbek Shunkeev:
— To date, this is the highest indicator of scientific activity in Kazakhstan. Such scientific publications simply do not take average research, they publish really breakthrough works that can find applications in nanotechnology. In addition, the article “One-dimensional Schottky nanodiodes based on telescopic polyprismans” was written not by a group of scientists, but by one author, which also adds value to the work.
Daulet Sergeev’s research is based on the study of the properties of nanotubes, the results of modeling which can be useful in creating promising active one-dimensional elements of nanoelectronics. He conducts his scientific activity at the center “Radiation Physics of Materials” Zhubanov University, is the author of about 37 scientific publications.
