A team of teachers from universities of Kazakhstan, which included Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of History and Religious Studies Gulbanu Izbasarova and senior lecturer of the Department of Informatics and Information Technologies Zhubanov University Zhanar Sartabanova were trained in the project “Strengthening the potential of pedagogical education”.
The second stage of the project of the Ministry of Education with the participation of the KHAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Nazarbayev University, which is being implemented with the support of the World Bank, was held from November 16 to 26 in Finland at the KHAMK University of Applied Sciences.
Teachers studied the Finnish model of parallel and sequential pedagogical education, got acquainted with the experience of selecting students for pedagogical education, the practice of pedagogical education based on research, visited schools in Finland.
Based on the knowledge gained, the project participants plan to conduct methodological seminars for teachers of Zhubanov University, the first of which will be held on December 6 at the Faculty of History. The topic of the seminar is “Features of the Finnish model in the training of teaching staff”.
