Young scientists of the University named after K. Zhubanov shared their achievements at the opening of the Month of Science.
The ceremony began with an exhibition of projects; the scientific works of students and teachers of each faculty were presented.
The month started on April 4th and will run until April 29th. We plan to hold 55 events: conferences for young people, seminars and speeches by venerable scientists to exchange experience. The main focus is on expanding ties with students of colleges and schools, as well as popularizing our achievements,” said Rakhym Beknazarov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Vice-Rector of the University Science and innovation.
Today, the university sets the bar to become a third-level university, which not only prepares and educates specialists, conducts scientific research, but also brings work to commercialization.
On this day, memorandums of cooperation were signed with the Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev, the Higher Polytechnic College, LLP “Batys-Munai” and “A-Textile”. These mutually beneficial agreements will contribute to the discussion of important problems and diversified research.
Rector of ARU named after K. Zhubanov Laura Karabassova noted an important innovation:
– Only a few consciously choose science, because it requires great endurance and patience. Our scientist-teachers really have not lost their love for research. Thanks to their merits, we can combine study and theory. In order to stimulate this direction, it was decided to introduce the category “teacher-scientist” from September 1. This will affect the amount of wages, the overall workload will decrease. I think this is a great motivation for research activities.
