Cabinet named after the honorary worker of education

The opening of the educational and methodological office named after the Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, economist Mambetov Ubaydulla Yesenuly took place at Zhubanov University.

The solemn event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia of the city, the teaching staff of the university, colleagues and students of Ubaydulla Mambetov. Those present recalled the merits of the scientist, his inexhaustible energy and desire to transfer knowledge to students.

Ubaydulla Mambetov was born on August 5, 1947 in the Shalkar district of Aktobe region. After graduating from high school in 1965, he worked as a machine operator. From 1966 to 1969 he served in the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union. In 1969-1974 he studied at the Faculty of Philosophy and Economics of the Kazakh State University named after S. M. Kirov, graduated with a degree in Political Economy, then graduated from graduate school. Since 1974, he has been engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities in higher educational institutions. He began his career as a teacher at the Guryev Pedagogical Institute. Since 1991 he worked as the head of the Department, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Aktobe State University named after K. Zhubanov.

He devoted half a century of his life to scientific and pedagogical activity in higher educational institutions of the Republic. As an experienced teacher-scientist, a qualified specialist, he was able to teach socio-economic disciplines at a high theoretical level and at a practical level, educated thousands of students. Many of his students, who possess the professional skills and education of a teacher, continue his noble work with honor and today replenish the teaching staff of the country’s universities.

Being a theoretical scientist, a well-known philosopher-economist in the field, he constantly shared his opinions with society. He was an expert on issues related to the strategic directions of the country’s development, state regulation of the economy of Kazakhstan, micro-macroeconomic development, entrepreneurship development and other socio-economic issues.

Ubaydulla Mambetov was engaged in research work on the topic “Problems of formation and development of communal property in Kazakhstan in a transitional economy”, a total of about 70 scientific papers, textbooks and manuals were published, in 1994 the first textbook in Kazakhstan was published “Fundamentals of market economy”.

He contributed to the opening of the Faculty of Economics in order to provide the Aktobe region with qualified personnel. Ubaydulla Yesenuly was awarded the badge “Excellent Student of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Best Teacher”, “For labor valor”, etc. for many years of work on the teaching path.
