At the initiative of Zhubanov University in 2020, the project “Silver University” was implemented in order to improve the self-knowledge, quality of life and social activity, physical and mental health of the elderly citizens.
Within the framework of this project, a training seminar on “Lifelong Applied Education” was held. During the two-day workshop, participants will receive expert advice and learn how to make quick decisions in some situations in life.
The seminar was attended by Nurlan Uderbay -a director of the Aktobe regional branch of the “Kizil ay” society, Anna Gnidenko – a psychologist of the Center for Health and Wellness, Roza Izimova – a senior lecturer of the Department of Biology, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor, Nurtas Utegenov – a lecturer of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education and doctors of university clinic Aliya Gumarova and Gulbahar Alitova.
During today’s training, participants received information about first aid in case of injuries, pre-hospital care, the use of first aid kits at home, the first solution in case of failure.
