A meeting with Abay scholar, Bauyrzhan scholar, Yassvai scholar, Doctor of Philology, professor, the winner of the State award of RK and the award “For Service to the Turkish People”, the owner of “Kurmet” and “Parasat” awards Mekemtas Myrzakhmetuly took place at K. Zhubanov University. The meeting was organized by “Abay studies” research center.
Students and teachers of Philological faculty took part in the meeting. Student of the first course Shynarbek Tursynuly recited his work devoted to the scientist. During the meeting the exhibition of works of the scientist and the presentation of the electronic textbook “Alphabet of Abay studies” which was compiled under the guidance of professor M. Myrzakhmetuly were organized
The scientist who devoted all the adult life to the development of the Kazakh people, Turkic heritage, and consciousness of all mankind on the basis of science about Abay spoke about Abay studies issues. And also the writer emphasized “A mature person” concept of great Abay propagandizing such qualities as humanity, kindness, generosity. “The worst thing in this world is indifference. In our unstably time the inaction is unacceptable. Therefore our youth has to work for the good of the nation, realizing all value of independence. It is our main task. The national code in continuous tradition of ancestors which begins with science of Alyp Er Tonga of the VІІ centuries proceeded in the research of Al-Farabi, Zhusup Balasagun, A. Yassavi, joins Abay’s work “A mature person” and Shakarim’s work “Science of Honor” , he said.
“I believe that our youth will show their worth in the perception of Abay in a new light!” Mekemtas Myrzakhmetulyin wrote in the guest book of Abay studies research center.
At the end of the meeting the students asked their questions to the professor and made a memorable photo session with the scientist.
