Today the Students’ Week of Science began in K. Zhubanov University. The traditional spring event was organized differently this year. For the purpose of support of the students’ aspiration for research and increase of scientific interest among the youth about 150 events, many of which are very large-scale, will be held within a week.
For example, 12 scientific seminars, 16 round tables, 7 trainings, 28 subject Olympiads, 8 scientific competitions are planned. Along with it, such actions as a rally of the best students and student activists, a fair of scientific circles, an exhibition of scientific achievements, master classes, business and intellectual games have been planned. One of such actions is the “Science Source” competition of the best scientific and innovative projects. This action will take place in K. Zhubanov conference room. About 30 project works which are selected among the students of 1,2,3,4 courses will take part in it. There are 3 prize-winning places. The winners will be awarded with monetary prizes of 100000, 50000, 25000 tenge.
