The international scientific and practical online seminar on the topic “PHILOLOGY: YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW …” was held at Philological Faculty of K. Zhubanov ARSU. The Department of Russian Philology and Cross-cultural Communication acted as the organizer of the scientific and practical seminar. The seminar was devoted to the 90th anniversary of the veteran of the department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor Adorova Ninel Vasilyevna.
Head of the Department of Russian Philology and Cross-cultural Communication associate professor Zhuminova Ayzhanna Bulekbayevna made a welcome speech. Then the floor was given to the adviser to the Rector of the University Konstantin Valentinovich Tskhai who congratulated Ninel Vasilyevna on such very important event on behalf of the administration, and emphasized her significant contribution in the formation and development of one of the first faculties of Aktobe Teacher Training Institute.\
The report “Siberia-born…” made by the senior teacher of the department Korobkova T.V., was followed by the movie about N.V.Adorova’s life and career.
Scientists, teachers, Master’s students and students from Kazakhstan and Russian Federation took part in the International online seminar and made reports. The second-year Master’s student of Orenburg State University Drovnenko Yu. D. and the Master of the Humanities, the lecturer of K. Zhubanov ARSU Abdrakhmanova G.K. highlighted the issues of the formation of professional competence of students of technical specialties and the formation of the secondary language identity of pupils in classes of the Russian language.
Guliyeva I. A. – a Master’s student of the first course of Orenburg State University (Russian Federation), teacher of the Russian language and Literature of Aktobe secondary school №27 – touched upon modern issues of teaching Russian and literature at school.
Reports of Chapayeva V.A., a first-year Master’s student of K. Zhubanov ARSU (“An image of “mirror” and world duality in I. Brodsky’s work”) Mendinova A.M., a second-year Master’s student of Orenburg State University (Russian Federation) (“We read a fantasy at Russian lessons as if it were a foreign language”) were of particular interest. A fourth-year student of “Russian and Literature” specialty of K.Zhubanov ARSU Eleuova A. made a report in line with her diploma research on methods of teaching literature.
