Today a professional orientation event with participation of the Cooperative College organized by the Institute of Continuous Education and Professional Orientation Department took place in K. Zhubanov University within the Memorandum on Cooperation. It was a seminar on the topic “Modern Kazakhstan Culture and the Idea of Spiritual Revival in the World, National Spirit” under the guidance of director of the Research Institute “History, Ethnography and Archeology”, Candidate of Historical Sciences Daulet Abenov.
About 70 undergraduates of this college participated in the seminar. Before the seminar they walked around the main building of the University. They visited “Temirkazyk” students service center, the scientific library, Confucius’s Institute, the Students Palace, K. Zhubanov’s conference room, examined their work, material and technical resources. They continued the excursion visiting “Senim”, “Zerde”, “Oratory”, “Etnopsychology”, “Sana”, “Tulga” centers, the museum of the University where they received valuable information on history of the University. The students also visited 20 research centers in IT Park.
The professional orientation group warmly welcomed the excursion group and answered their questions about the specialties they got interested in. According to the head of the Professional Orientation Department Zhamilya Idiyeva students of Cooperative College study “Preschool Training”, “Primary Training”, “Physical Culture and Sport”, “Management”, “Accounting and Audit”, “Traffic Organization “, “Information Technologies”, “Tourism”, “Law” specialties. There are all these specialties at our University. Therefore the students showed willingness to continue training here.
At the end of the excursion the students gathered at the professional orientation interactive platform, participated in the game where they answered questions being guided by the obtained information. 10 students who answered all questions were awarded with gifts.
Relations with secondary educational institutions of our city will continue.
