Today a University methodical seminar on the topic “The role of intensive training in improvement of education quality: lecturer’s professional competence” took place at the Faculty of Foreign Languages The seminar was opened by the dean of Philological Faculty, Candidate of Philology K.B. Koptleuova.
The lecturer of the “Translation and Interpreting” department A.S. Tukhtarova made a report on the topic “Use of “Free quizmaker”, “Hypercam” and “Kahoot” programs while creating electronic courses” and presented ways of organizing English classes by means of these programs. The lecturer of the same department A.B. Bayadilova made a report “New methods of presenting the subject” and acquainted the participants of the seminar with the training technique in Singapore and demonstrated games she uses at her classes. The reports “Use of “associogram” and “fishbone” methods in teaching English” were also made by lecturers of Foreign Philology department G.G. Tolegenova, Zh.A. Zhetesova.
The lecturer of “English and German languages” department D.T. Shanayeva highlighted modern interactive technologies used at English classes, and S.G. Usenova shared her knowledge in the report “Modern issues of training methodology and evaluation: learning by teaching (lernen dürch lehren)”.
