This has been reported at the meeting of Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov, the rector of Zhubanov university, with Zhang Hongy Sab, the rector of Tonmyon university in Busan. During the meeting rectors discussed issues of training specialists on mechanical engineering and information systems with regard to two-degree education.
Mr. Zhang Hong Sab, the rector of Tonmyon university, having expressed gratitude to the rector of our university, said: “There were many obstacles during the Soviet period. In this regard, we had no opportunity of close cooperation in education with Kazakhstan. I hope that now we will constantly keep in touch and we will create the worthy educational platform. We thank you for giving us the honour and for your hospitality”. Also the rector of the Korean university has noted that he often watches about the life of Koreans in Kazakhstan on television.
By traditions of the Kazakh people Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov has presented shapan to dear guest from Korea.
The meeting has continued with negotiations between the Korean ambassadors and deans of the university.
